Welcome To 2025!

Welcome along to 2025! We're glad to have you here and excited to take you on the ride with us! It's going to be a big year ahead with lots planned both on and off the track.

Gazley have recently signed on again with us as our track naming rights sponsor. We are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with them and look forward to extending our already longstanding relationship with them. If you're in need of a new tow vehicle, play car, work car, work van…Anything really…Check out their impressive range!

We have lots planned for this year, kicking off with the WPKA series in March as our first big meeting of the year. If you haven't already, make sure you apply for the KSNZ Academy in a few weeks time. This will fast track your Tier 2 rating and make you eligible for entering the Gold Star series.

Later in the year we have our enduro which will feature revised race times to make it easier for single driver entries and hopefully get a few more of you along to race.

Thrown in we have member poll formats, CIK, reverse, 3x3, and you may have noticed a little thing called a night race in there………….

Play hard, play fair, have fun, and good luck for 2025!

Important Information

This month we are trialing a new rule for our reverse direction chicane to help improve the safety of the corner.

It is a very very fast corner, so if two karts are approaching at speed, they will need to work together. It really is a one line corner the majority of the time.

There will be cones on either side of the track leading up to the chicane. It's very simple but very important from here. Whichever kart is ahead at the markers has right of way into the corner. Whether that kart is on the inside or outside does not matter, the trailing kart MUST fall in behind.

It's very similar to the rule imposed on the Gold Coast street circuit chicanes.

We Need You!

Please please please put on your thinking caps. The club is now in desperate need of café helpers, as the current small team is getting worked very hard. Some of our café helpers are also wearing multiple hats on a club day.

The club café is a vital source of income to the club so it would be a real shame to lose it. It's great that we have a café run by the club, for the club.

As it brings in money to the club, our helpers will get a small gratuity for their time and efforts, it's not just a free ride for the club.

If you know of anyone willing to lend a hand on club days, whether it's a morning or afternoon or 1 hour or 1 day…Please let us know!

Keeping Legal…

Remember, this month you will need to have your helmet checked and a 2025 sticker put on to it. Make sure you allow a bit of extra time to have this checked, and also make sure you know where to find your helmet manufacture date along with the safety rating of the helmet.

Last Club Day

Thank you to all of you who came along to celebrate the year that was 2024! Here's a few snaps pf the day!

Tyre Disposal & Track Damage

A few reminders for you while you enjoy our facilities.

  1. No tyre dumping is permitted anymore at the track in the rubbish bin shed. The Tyrewise fee is now charged with all tyres, so you need to take them with you to a kart shop or main stream tyre shop for disposal.
  2. If you damage the track, a fence, building etc. Please let us know, we won't be angry with you but if we don't know it's broken we won't be able to fix it. This is especially important if you damage a track fence as they are safety items. We know accidents happen from time to time, so please just flick through the online form linked below. It only takes a few minutes to notify us.
